Riley Hospital for Children and Indiana University Health Physicians are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nocturnist to join out amazing team in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Department of Psychiatry faculty and staff deliver the most advanced psychiatric treatment available in Indiana through the integration of the three Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) missions of excellence in patient care, education and research. Our mission is to be a destination site for training the next generation of leaders in psychiatry, furthering neuroscience discovery, and pioneering new approaches to the translation of these discoveries to the treatment of neurobehavioral disorders. Several developments make this an exciting time in the history of our Department - with new and expanded opportunities for our educational, research and clinical missions.
Position Highlights
The Department of Psychiatry has a board research, clinical and teaching mission.
Academic based
Clinical Care for complex patients in a tertiary referral center that accompanies teaching a variety of learners (medical students, residents, psychology interns, etc.) and a willingness to participate in clinical research opportunities.
Hospital based position in a large children's hospital to cover the ED, psychiatric consults on the pediatric floors and inpatient units as well as provide more opportunities to practice full spectrum evidence-based medicine while also utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.
7 nights on / 14 nights off (6pm - 6am)
100% inpatient
Qualifications
American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry BE/BC
Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for Indiana licensure
