Numerous inpatient attendings provide primary and consultative care for over 2,500 inpatient encounters per year.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborating with faculty across subspecialties to identify and understand the genetic basis of pediatric disease, discover the natural history of genetic diseases from birth through childhood and into adulthood, and develop and facilitate novel therapeutic approaches to genetic disease, while recognizing issues regarding health equity among underserved communities.
The Division encompasses a well-funded research enterprise, including basic science, translational, clinical and health services research programs and spanning all areas of the field.
