ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, SLEEP RESEARCH
DescriptionThe division of Pulmonary Medicine is seeking a scientist in basic science of Sleep Medicine with a focus on circadian biology and its modifiers such as genetics of sleep disorders and hypoxia. The candidate may hold a MD, MD, PhD or PhD and will be recruited into the research faculty track with a large percentage of the effort dedicated to research. The new faculty will be joining the division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, directed by Raouf Amin, MD and joining the laboratory of John Hogenesch, PhD. Both are senior investigators in clinical and basic science of Sleep Medicine. The laboratory of John Hogenesch has a long track record of novel discoveries in circadian biology and in NIH funding.
