Northwell Health and the Department of Family Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible part time Associate Program Director to join their team at Glen Cove Hospital. Among other responsibilities, the Associate Program Director will assist the program director in the day-to-day management of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Hospital and direct the educational curriculum – both inpatient and outpatient. They will ensure the program follows all regulations of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
Other key responsibilities of the Associate Program Director will include supervising residents, and other trainees, including medical students, caring for patients under the auspices of the Department. They will also coordinate, schedule subspecialty rotations, and coordinate and oversee participation by faculty in the outpatient curriculum. The Associate Program Director will also serve on Hospital committees and perform other medical staff and administrative functions as required.
